Chronic Pain - A problem worth solving

a problem worth solving

A report titled “A problem worth solving” from Deloitte Access Economics rang alarms about the rising cost of chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

In the year of 2012 alone, chronic conditions such arthritis and back pain cost Australians $55.1 billion. These included direct health costs, lost productivity and reduced quality of life. It is estimated that 6.1 million Australians are affected, of which 58% are of working age in peak income earning years (25-64 years); 43% growth in musculoskeletal cases are projected in the next two decades, including a surge in older Australians living with the conditions.

Action is needed now, and at Sydney Laser Health Solutions, we've vowed to do our best in the fight against this silent pandemic. We aim to use our knowledge and advanced medical laser technology (Low Level Laser - LLLT) to help people prevent arthritis and stop tissue deterioration at early stages, hence helping maintain functions and quality life.
